Our Mission Statement

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, One God, Amen.

We are a church that is for the glory of the Father, His only begotten Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, the Paraclete [Comforter], one God.

This is a Coptic Orthodox Church in its faith, doctrine, traditions, and teachings under the leadership of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II & the Holy Synod of the Coptic Orthodox Church, and care and supervision of His Grace Bishop David in the Coptic Orthodox Diocese of New York and New England.

The church's mission, united in the one body of Christ, while trusting and following God, is to seek God and His kingdom first and bring our community with us.

Faith. Unity. Love. These are the pillars upon which our Church stands—firm in the Coptic Orthodox faith, united in the body of Christ, and driven by the boundless love of God.

Rooted in the teachings of the Apostolic Church, our faith is more than tradition; it is a living relationship with the Holy Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. As members of the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church, we seek God and His Kingdom above all else, anchoring our lives in prayer, Scripture, and the sacramental life of the Church.

As a Coptic Orthodox parish, we are committed to preserving the faith once delivered to the saints—upholding the Holy Fathers' teachings, the Ecumenical Councils' decisions, and the unchanging truth of Orthodox Christianity across generations.

We joyfully abide by the Holy Bible, the canons and teachings of the Coptic Orthodox Church, and the practice of the seven Holy Sacraments, through which we grow in grace and communion with God and one another.

Everyone is welcome—regardless of culture, race, background, or any other category—into the fullness of Christ’s love and truth as revealed in His Church. As one family, we are called to be Christ’s hands and feet in the world.

Our core values:

  • The church is the community of believers

  • Every member is valuable and should play a role

  • God is love, and everything should be done in love

  • As a church, we are the light of the world in whom the community sees Christ and through whom Christ serves the community

Because of our core values that we humbly hold, we are:

  • A faithful community to the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, eager and enthusiastic to grow spiritually and to be a positive influence in its surroundings

  • A worshipping community that offers praise and glory to God

  • Unity and love in nature; a parish that is of one family and one body of Christ

  • It is a place where no one stands alone

  • Focusing on the love of God through spiritual growth and also on the love of neighbor through community service and humanitarian work

In unity, we walk together in hope, supporting one another in times of joy and especially in times of trial. This spirit of unity reflects the love of Christ and calls us to be His light in the world.

Love is at the heart of all we do. God is love, and we are called to live that love visibly—through worship, service, and acts of compassion. We strive to reflect the image of Christ to all we encounter, reaching beyond our walls to serve our neighbors, care for the marginalized, and bring healing to a broken world. Empowered by grace, we are not only called to be transformed but to be instruments of transformation in our community and beyond.

May the church be a pillar for the salvation of our souls that the Lord Christ purchased for us with His blood, and glory to His name, forever, Amen.
